Packages: advice that comes with proof

The Broole team · 8 October 2026 · 2 min read

The internet is full of advice, and most of it is hard to trust. Who wrote this? Did they actually do it? Did anyone who gave it five stars ever try it?

Packages are our answer.

A guide in steps

A package is a guide in steps: how to brew a better cup of coffee, train for your first 10K or plan a week in Kyoto. Anyone on Broole's Social can write one. Creators, the people our edit team has welcomed, can invite up to 26 editors to make it better with them. Every edit becomes a new version, credited by name, and nothing is ever lost. The creator can bring back any version in one tap.

Proof, not stars

To review a package, you show that you tried it: a receipt, a ticket, a photo you took along the way. Broole reads that proof on your iPhone. It checks the date and looks for something the package names. Then only the facts leave your phone: what kind of proof it was, its date, and the words that matched. The picture never does.

Then you write at least 100 words and rate it from 1 to 10.

A rating you have to earn

A package shows its rating only after ten people have reviewed it and they broadly agree. Until then, you see how many reviews it has. Every package plays by the same rule, so a low rating is never quietly hidden.

When a creator changes a lot, the older reviews count for a little less, because they describe a guide that has changed.

Make it yours

Save any package to your notes and change it however you like. When the creator improves it, tap sync. Broole brings in their changes and keeps yours.

Everyone knows how to do something well. Now there's a place to show it.
